Fleetwood Discovery Shower skylight leak

Hi Everyone,

Our 98' Discovery is running great. Yet, somehow we are getting a leak from the skylight shower dome towards the bedroom and some dark/black mold is appearing.

Has anyone had this issue before? Any recommendations to repair?

We are thinking of doing a big renovation if we have to pull off the wall and carpet.

Thanks so much for any thoughts, input, suggestions or those of you who may have already done this before!

Best,
Mark

about all you can do is start peeling it back from the inside. start by removing the skylite and carefully take it from there. we have a Fleetwood travel trailer an 07 i believe. our shower has the skylite dome, it doesn't leak yet but its in poor condition ( the outside part). it looks to be 2 piece outside and inside or its posibly 1 piece??? our outside part is uv damaged bad, the plastic is so bad i believe one could push your finder through it. we are using it right now and plan to replace the hole unit this fall or if i can just the outside part. mine has a good amount of Dicor flowable seam sealer on it to remove . once your ready to install cover the mating surface with the Dicor self leveling sealer and you should be good.

If you need to replace the skylight, check this place out for a replacement.
