Flex paste
I keep seeing this commercial on TV about this product. They say you can seal your RV roof with it. Has anybody tired it. I would be Leary of there claim.

I haven't had good luck with any of the Flex Seal products. personally, I wouldn't use it. There are many suitable sealers on the market that are time proven.

Disclaimer: I don't have any firsthand experience with any of the Flex Seal products.
I have to admit that the advertisers make them look good on tv. But as with most all the other "as seen on tv" products, I doubt they live up to their claims. Unless it was an emergency, I would not use it on the RV, especially on the roof.
There are some good products out there that are made especially for RVs. A product like Dicor would be what I'd be looking to use.

I really don’t think they work, I know there spray sealants are really garbage. They won’t even seal bricks on a foundation. Trust me I tried.

Agree with the others that there are better products for your needs, especially on the roof or any area subject to UV.
There may be a use for the paste in an emergency, but you need to be willing/prepared to remove it later for a better quality repair.
As far as the spray sealer, read the directions. Very likely one coat will not suffice to fix what you need to repair, and the product requires 24hrs. between coats. So, how many days will it take to apply three quality coats? More than a delivery of Dicor or other similar produce via Amazon Prime.

I put Flex Seal on a sliding bay box I built last summer. The actual box is plywood and I didn't think paint would hold up too well. I found Flex Seal at Lowes and gave it a try. It worked great for that, a fairly thick rubbery coating. I don't think it would work well on a roof because it is rubbery. It seems like everything would stick or stain and be a real pain to clean. I think it would seal, at least temporarily, but the maintenance wouldn't be worth it long term.

I've used the spray on leaking gutters. Works well.
We fixed a leaking cargo trailer roof with it. Brushed it on all seams. No more leaks, and it seems to be holding up well. Prepped the surface with acetone, and there's no lifting anywhere.

In emergency, you buy what available on the road, but otherwise, I agree, as a rule, Flexseal 500% more $$, and NOT as good a life as designated products like Dicor... but you can create MUCH more work for the person doing the final repair?

Following Hurricane Laura last year in Lake Charles, LA, my son purchased Flex Seal paste and spray which we used to temporarily patch some small holes in the metal roof on his small storage shed --> https://www.walmart.com/ip/Flex-Seal...ll&athena=true
The products worked as advertised to cover the holes and remain in good condition some eight months later. He is in no rush to replace the storage shed roof.
After using those products I learned that Flex Seal also makes a water proof adhesive which I decided to try to re-attached a few loose tiles along the perimeter(skimmer line) skimmer line of my in-ground pool. The Flex Seal adhesive thus far has been fantastic with good adhesion and being able to apply the adhesive to wet tiles and press them into place.
Thus far I'm fan of Flex Seal products for "repair work". Flex Seal is "very sticky" and not easy to work with and for that reason I personally wouldn't use Flex Seal as the "primary" sealant around items on the roof of my motorhome. However, I would not hesitate using Flex Seal to patch a crack in sealant around a roof fan / skylight or small hole.

What is the fascination with FlexSeal...just a huckster on TV with a marketing budget. Must be brothers with the pillow guy.
