FlexArmor

I am thinking this would be a good idea, especially in the long run. Not only would it take care of the roof, but also on the round down where the clear coat is deteriorating, at least on my MH.
Has anyone had this done to their rig? How do you like it?, and it appears all you have to do is clean it once in awhile. No more resealing etc.
Thank you for replying.

We had it done in the spring on our peeling front and rear cap. The shop matched the flexarmor color to the paint. Looks great and is highly durable. Best part was that it was a third of the cost of repairing the peeling clear coat.

Thank you Irishguy. I think this is the way to go. I've seen the other roof sealing outfit on video. It's probably ok but Flexarmor does a more thorough job I believe. My front cap clear coat is blistering a little also. So I'm thinking this procedure would take care of all the roof sealing problems for good, I hope.

I had it done at a local RV service & repair shop in Medicine Hat, Alberta. They said it is starting be quite a popular alternative for repairing peeling paint and clear coat.
The older Monaco coaches are well known for their peeling roofs and top caps.

I think what he is saying that it is a great value if you intend to keep the roof and all that's under it, but if you are planning on selling relatively soon, that you will not see a return on that investment.

Ah Ha. Thank you. True statement. It is costly for sure. I am thinking long term. We like our MH and have no plans to change, BUT, you never know, LOL.

I was quoted $5750.00 at 31 feet. Spendy, yes, but personally I think it would be a good investment and hopefully worry free about leaks etc from the roof for the rest of MY life.
There is another outfit that does this but not the same as FlexArmor. Someone in here has done that one also, I don't remember who. Maybe they will post about it. I think it is cheaper. I seen a video on it.
Cheers.
