Hi my drivers side captains chair which is made by Flexsteel will not lock when it's tilted. You can push and pull the seat by putting your hand on the top of the seat without pulling the tilt lever. Can anyone let me know how to fix this issue?

The manual recline seatback is lever operated and the lever pulls a cable that unlatches it. It my be stuck in the unlatch position. Could be a broken cable, lack of lubrication, or ???

Thanks, is it a bare to get to that cable? All I can figure is I'll have to RIP apart fabric to get to that part of the chair. Let me know if that's it? Thanks again.
