Floor Replacement

Our vinyl floor is starting to turn yellow in areas, I think the adhesive or binder is coming though. Could not find any product to get the yellow out.
Thinking about floor replacement. Its a class C about 26 ft. I know all the cabinets have to come out and its a big job.
Has anyone had this done, and what would be a good estimate of the time needed to complete this repair ?
Thanks
Jim

You should not need to to remove cabinets . No real need to repair the vinyl under them. People have even put LVL over smooth ,good condition vinyl. Slides clearance can be an issue with any floor install higher than OEM.

Jim, you should be able to replace the flooring and then use a small quarter-round against the base of the cabinets.

It's not hard, no cabinet removal required.

Probably the hardest part is removing the old tiles, which depending on how they are attached may not be hard at all. The tiles particularly under the cabinets need to be cut. Do a search I'm sure people will have some tips.

There are tricks to cutting vynial tiles to exactly the edge of the cabinet. The trick involves putting the tile to be cut on the full tile next to where the partial tile to be cut and using a second against the edge and then use that tile as a cutting guide. I'm not describing it well but if you do a search I'm sure you will find some YouTube videos.

The techniques are not unique to a rv so don't restrict your search to RVs.

Bottom line is if you do your homework and take your time you can get very nice results. The space is small enough it won't take more then a day or two, no quarter round needed.
