I put my 2000 Southwind on CL. had it on for 2 months, didn't get one single call.
Took it to PPL in Houston, sold the first weekend it was there. Was priced the same as what I had it on CL for. [ moderator edit ]. But, in the end, we were all happy, so it was a good deal.
I realize that wasn't the question.....but.....

If you advertise on Craigslist be prepared for people calling wanting help you sell your coach.
I listed my older Class C on Craigslist and got lots of calls from people wanting to help. I also got calls from people interested with a number of tire kickers. I ended up selling to the mechanic I used to fix things on it, his dad actually bought it. He new everything that I had problems with, he fixed most of them. He also knew I took care of the rig.
One trick is to not list your phone number typed like 123-456-7890 but instead use works like One23-four56-seven890. There are people who have written programs to scan craigslist but if a number isn't there they won't flag.
Good Luck

Sold our last TT on Craigslist in 7 days. Had a couple of tire kickers, but overall easy experience. One thing we did do though is park it at a secured storage lot so we didn't have anyone coming to our home.

Craigslist for the last 5-6 campers (TT, Toy haulers, and Class A's), some sold in a day and others in 6 weeks. I do like the idea of PPL but it is too far for me, the idea of not having to show the camper to tire kickers sounds nice.

For three months we tried local newspaper, Craigs List, and several forums. Got a couple of inquiries from this forum and nothing else. Put it on consignment with the largest local dealer. He doesn't do a lot of consignment sales. He sold it in less than a month - 10 percent commission. He handled all paper work including financing for the new owner and did regional advertising.

The last 2 I sold I parked on a state highway, hi vis location,(with permission of property owner) and sold them pretty fast. Priced right and price posted on the rig helped I think.

I sold the last two motorhomes on Craigs List. It was not a big deal to sell it by yourself.

I haven't sold one on C/L, but have bought a small TT on there that was being sold in town. Just my thoughts: Do not use YOUR NAME!! Use a pseudo or for contact info just use the email address that C/L assigns to your ad.
