Ford V-10 6.8L engine making noises 2015 Tiffin Open Road

I own a 2015 Tiffin Open Road with a Ford V-10 engine. I recently took a 3500 mile trip and when I returned the engine was making a knocking sound. Anyone have this problem? I am having the issue reviewed by a mechanic.

Mine started making a sound like a lifter when you are using low octane gasoline. However I put premium in it and drove about 200 miles. The sound started to get louder and with in a few seconds it got loud, blew oil all over the engine. I tried to restart but would not turn over. Checked the oil and found it was hard to pull the dipstick out. When it came out the end was bent in a u shape. It is now setting in Kimball SD. Trying to find a engine now. I am thinking a rod cap came off and then the engine locked up. Good Luck.
