Free camping with wonderful folks at Russell Kansas

We had engine problems on a Saturday but got to the local RV park. Sunday we worshipped at the church of Christ there. Bible lessons, singing, and preaching was outstanding for such a small church. When they found out that we had stayed at the RV park, they asked that in the future we stay in their parking lot, no matter what the day of the week. After worship, they gave each of us fresh banana bread and a really quality coffee cup printed with the slogan, "Enter a stranger, leave a friend."

All of our future trips from Colorado Springs will be timed to leave on Saturday and enjoy the fantastic hospitality of the Christians at Russell. Everyone should do the same!

Don't miss going over to Meridy's steak house and getting one of her superb rib eye steaks. One of them makes one or two more meals with the take home leftovers.
