iExit app has a $2 upgrade that will show you prices of diesel along your route. Has not been hard for me to save .50 - .70 off the truck stop prices. Yes, you're usually stopping at a dumpy station but I've yet to see ANY station with a clearance less than 13'

Like me, I think you are finding the stations with diesel pumps out in the open. Dumpy stations are fine with me because I'm only there to take on fuel!

Annoying issue to report.

Used the app to find a station on the Oregon/Cali border that was shown as $2.41/gal (which was at least .75/gal less than anything else on I-5 in that area.) Put in 70 gallons but was charged $2.72/gal.

Called TDS and they explained Oregon has an add'l tax that is not displayed in the app. Stupid!

Frank--welcome to Oregon....commercial truckers pay an annual tax [PUC] and get the reduced rate at the pump....us non - commercial guys pay tax at the pump...common mistake for first timers to make....but not sure the app is to blame...."buyer be ware"

Fuel Discount Program.....to good to be true?

Yup all prices at truck stops in Oregon are listed as PUC prices. There was an issue with people on the rv program getting these non taxed prices plus the discount. I’m no longer in Oregon but evidently TSD’s Solution maybe , was to add the tax on their end. Keep in mind this is mainly a commercial truck plan that we are using. The state gets its commercial tax in per mile taxes based on weights. One of the few states that does it this way . Us mortals must pay the per gallon Oregon tax. There have been several posts about this .. confusing yes but remember in Oregon add 31cents ( if I remember correctly)

The prices shown for Oregon fuel locations on the TSD Open Roads app include $0.36 tax.

The same locations on the EFS app do not include the tax.

Today, the Petro location in Phoenix, OR shows $2.397 on the EFS app and shows $2.757 on the TSD Open Roads app. The difference is the $0.36 Oregon tax that TSD adds to the EFS prices.

Adding the Oregon tax to the Open Roads app pricing was a smart move on the part of TSD.

Using the Open Roads app to get accurate information about TSD pricing would also be smart.

And of course if a person doesn’t like the program they don’t have to use it.

So true. Sadly, rather than just do that, people feel compelled to spread misinformation about this program, rather than becoming informed from TSD, those who created and run this program.

I find it hard to believe that anyone from TSD explained that their Open Roads app does not reflect the Oregon tax. The fact that they add $0.36 to Oregon prices was in red letters at the top of the home page of their app for several months. It's the EFS app that does not show the price, including the tax.

Exactly the station I filled at. There is one slightly north of there at a casino that was $2.62 when I went past. Huge lines at those pumps but it's probably the cheapest option in that area to fill up before hitting California prices?

It doesn't matter in Oregon what you pay with, cash, credit/debit card or any fuel card, you are going to pay the extra tax if you are not commercial.

I guess if you pay by credit/debit card you can notify the card company of the policy in Oregon. I don't know who to complain to if paying in cash!

Do they not show retail pump price and PUC price ( both ) on the signs? I recall they did but it’s been a year.

Daily Rates?

Anyone know where the daily rates page went on the TSD website? I didn't see anything on FB or in their emails to say it was being taken down, but it seems to be among the missing...

I just signed up for the TSD program recently. I’m supposed to get the card in the mail soon. So if I understand it correctly, if I download the Loves/TA/FJ app, and then add the TSD card as a payment method, I can get the pump turned on without going inside?
