FYI Front End Alignment on Motorhomes

After many days of looking, I found a place in Red Oak, Texas, South of Dallas.

Did they happen to mention any limits to length or capacity?

Can they do a total alignment or only front end? I had a total alignment performed on our MH,(HDT repair shop) the rear axle was out by 3/4" the front required minor adjustments.
Now it drives much better and easier.

They also do large trucks. Their rack is outside on a lot.

How did they or you move rear axle 3/4" on a Spartan chassis is it actually adjustable . I have see the modification necessary for a Roadmaster.

It is named Thrust Angle.
There are adjustment cams and bolts, any vehicle is capable of a total alignment IF the technician knows his stuff and has the equipment.

I took ours to Cowser in Fort Worth. They are on N820 near Meacham Airport.

It made a huge improvement in the way it drove. If you haven't weighed it yet, I recommend you do and adjust the tire pressure accordingly before the alignment. Cowser adjusted my tire pressure from the instructions I gave them.

A lot of truck places do alignment. We got ours done at a diesel shop just before they installed a Safe-T-Plus system. It was pretty far off. It was pretty impressive to see the massive lifts putting the motorhome high in the air!

We took ours to Cowser as well. Man it dives so much nicer now.

When I first bought our coach it had bad wire wear and vibration, not sure if they were from alignment or bad tires. Either way I had new tires put on. I live near Knoxville and called Buddy Gregg to see if they did alignments. They didn't but gave me the name of the shop that they used.

So if in doubt contact a large RV dealership and find out who they use.

Any shop that performs alignments on heavy duty trucks is capable of aligning a MH chassis.

When you say it quickly, it sounds so easy. It took me 3 days of calling and I live just south of Dallas. I was looking for one within 40 miles.
