Our local Sam's Club had been getting fuel brought in by tanker-trucks with "Flying J" and "Pilot" plastered all over them for quite some time. And I've been getting gas from Sam's in 3 different vehicles for 2 years and none have had a problem. One of the vehicles, a jeep, has been using Sam's gas exclusively since 2010. Another vehicle, jeep also, has been using Sam's gas exclusively since 2016. All of which means nothing. My mom had a car that only liked one particular brand of gas. It spit and sputtered every time she used a different brand. She got rid of it fairly quickly. She claimed it ran too slow. Next car was better. It was the one she blew thru Atlanta doing 150mph in. She liked that one. We got fuel from NM to NC (I-40) and back (I-20) last year and had no problem with the gas in the truck which was mostly from Sam's. Had other problems but not with the fuel. I guess we are lucky with fuel.
