I agree with Mike . If the cover is tensioned properly there is no need for tubes or soccer balls or anything else under the fabric. It is not hard to increase the tension.

So what do you do when the ends of topper are tight and the middle sags?
What I do is don't worry about it. Evaporation, wind, RV on a slight angle, or broom it off.
