Gerard2 tankless error code E3
The manual states that an E3 error is an ECO thermostat problem caused by it opening during normal operation due to temps exceeding 140 degrees. (the water line coming in had been in the sun) It states that the problem causing the error needs to be fixed before restarting.
I figured all would be ok once the sun went down, but the E3 error is still coming up. I thought it might reset if I turned off and on the power to the control panel; no change. Then I tried the power off/on to the tank itself; no change.
Any suggestions on what I might try next?
