Hanging pleated front window curtains
What's the best way to hang front window curtains? My coach has the track with the roller clips that include a loop which hangs down. The present curtains use the pin type hanger but they seem to come off the loops often. Is there a better system?

Yes, replace them with MCD day/night shades.

I pinched the hooks on our drapes tighter using pliers so they don't come off the loops on the rollers as easily. Also, when pulling the drapes open and closed, try to remember to put a little downward pull on them as you pull them sideways.

In my dream world I'd love to have MCD Shades. So nice.
But reality world of curtains, I found the same thing, easier to close the gaps on the pins....

I agree and I am going to do it today. I only seem to have 3-4 that fall off all the time when I pull the cord to open or close them .So crimped they will be. my problem is the new curtains hang lower than the old ones by about 2 inches. Bummer but they look nice...

I have the complete set that I removed from my 2005 Airstream when I installed the MCD shade system. Its a 3 piece set with an opening for the door. They are still in very good condition no stains or tears. The pleats are still sharp and I have the rollers and track as well. If interested in retro fitting these to your coach just PM me and I will get you the measurements. These can be trimmed at the bottom if they are to long. Just pay shipping cost.

I'm trying to get info on getting honey comb shades for the front and side windows for my Terra.
Made contact with MCD but they wanted $2800 and change. Not happening anytime soon at that price. Besides the shades are made from some sort of light vinyl material. No thanks.
My biggest concern is how to attach the honey comb shades. Currently I have the pinch pleat drapes that are run on a track, with drape hooks that come out easily like others have mentioned; and, are made of two one piece curtains. I'm thinking the honeycomb shades will have to be three separate shades or maybe even 4, two for the front and one each for the sides.
If anyone has used these types of shades to replace what was originally in your coach please let me know how you did it.

Here is a site that indicates the have "Cellular Shades" for MH. I don't know if that is the same as homey comb shades. I have the MCD day night shades and think they are great.

I believe it was Camping World. Yes just checked, go to their "Indoor Living" section then go to page 2, Scroll down I got the Beige, $120.00 I have seen the same ones @ other RV sites. Pretty much the same price everywhere I have seen them. Huge improvement from the Original ones I just wish they hung alittle higher, there is about 1-11/2 inch space from the ceiling.
