I would like to say that I checked Koni's website and Koni does not make shocks for an M2. I went to a Koni distributor and they looked up the M2 and said they do not make shocks for the M2. Only 5 shock manufactures: OEM, Monroe, Gabriel, Fox and HD (that I could find) make shocks for an M2. The largest shocks were 2 and 1/8 inches in diameter for all 4 corners; I can't recall the name of the manufacturer. Further, Fox cannot deliver shocks for at least 16-24 weeks after ordering. HD Shocks, for my motorhome, are 2.5 inches diameter for the front and 3 inches diameter for the rear; the largest of all the above. I think in a motorhome on an M2 chassis, a larger shock makes for a better ride and better handling.

I'll share what I paid for my S2RV which is pretty similar to the M2 chassis. Fronts 2 1/2" $475 each, rears 3" $613 each, $2289 total with shipping. I have an install appointment for Aug 7th so no road notes from me yet.

Yes, it's stupid expensive, but the weak suspension on my RV combined with crappy Interstate 70 has resulted in a decent amount of vibration damage to my RV. Broken washing machine, broken water filter housing, broken personal belongings, broken engine coolant stand pipe sealant (that was fun and expensive to repair!), fuses shook loose in fuse holder, etc.

For the M2/S2RV there are no other quality replacement options that I could find. The Gabriel shocks are like $35 each and get poor reviews. Fox seemed like a good option; a number of the Jayco Seneca (another S2RV-based Super C) owners liked them, but Fox stopped manufacturing them in 2022. Coldbear, did you speak to someone at Fox that would let you special order them? Maybe this is a difference between the M2 and S2RV. Other MFGs I never got clear information that their parts would fit S2RV.

If you have a Class A or something that Koni makes shocks for, just get those. My parents had them on their pusher and swore up and down about how amazing they were. It's a standard part (not custom order) with wide adoption and great reputation.

I talked to a Fox distributor and that is where I got the information that Fox can manufacture shocks specifically for the M2, but delivery was 24+ weeks. While researching shocks, I found out that the Freightliner M2 and S2RV OEM shocks have no dampeners on the compression and only on the rebound. This also causes porpoising and the shock bottoming out. DW didn't like that. Good luck on the install. Let us know about your impression after installation.
