Nope that is not it, I still cant get a pic to post, I might be to new of a member yet to allow pics, I know many forums have that policy. My coach has a rounded flat front similar to a tour bus. If you type in Allegro Bay 1994 there are many pics of different style coaches from that era, mine is the tan colored flat front end 28'er
Google images make it look like the headlights look to be those from an F-series pickup of that vintage.

I think those are Mack headlights. Gotta do more Googling...
Nah...Mack headlight is different. More googling I know these were discussed before...
Very similar but mine has a single lamp on each side not duals and the grill is more open. The hole in the fiberglass looks like it was cut out with a saws all with all the rough and ragged edges, hard to believe it came from the factory that way. The sealed beam headlamp cant go all the way thru this rugged hole, so it is forced against the hole and braced from the rear by what appears to be left over junk including 1" sq aluminum tubing and some long wood/deck screws. A bucket is there to hold the lamp but cannot be adjusted in any way due to the force of holding the lamp up against the ragged cutout. If I loosen the bulb to try and adjust it will just fall to the ground, only the pressure behind it is all that holds it in place.
Yes Tim that is the one, just hard to believe it came from the factory that way. I did read an interesting article on another RV site where a fellow wrote "the truth about RV construction" and it is quite interesting to say the least. He was involved in the RV industry for a number of years and had the opportunity to tour many of the factories where motorhomes were produced and he discussed the many corners that were cut in the production of a mh. After reading that article I would not be surprised if my headlamp setup came from the factory that way. When installing the laminate floor I had a number of interior walls that were out od square by 3/4" over a 7" length!! Yes that is seven inches....with the laminate it looks worse, with the old carpet it wasn't noticible. I guess you really don't get what you pay for! Oh well we will work thru this, as long as the mechanical aspect of this coach continues to work well and we have some fun it will still be worth it.........
