I have a very small coolant leak in one of the heater hoses where it was held against part of the frame. Apparently the abbrasion by vibration over the mile caused the frame to eat into the rubber enough to allow the smallest of leaks. Naturally, it's in a spot that's hard to get to. I'm torn between cutting the hose and installing a female/female connector and hose clamps or....fashioning some kind of patch for the area. As I said the leak is VERY small.

Your thoughts?

Can you get to points on either side of the leak? If you can then I would cut the hose there and run a length of hose to replace it. Fittings and hose clamps will work fine.

Well, today was the day to fix the leak in the heater hose. I bought a heater hose repair kit and got under the motorhome to fix the leak. Couldn't find it!!! Ran the diesel to heat up the system and build up pressure. NO LEAK!!!

I may be closer to a rubber room than I thought>
