I would just rent a lift when needed. I have a feeling those things would be very expensive, and I doubt you would be using it enough to justify the cost. JMHO

In our area, to rent a single person lift is $75 for 4 hours, $95 a day.

Hereís what I use to get my RV cover or anything else awkward up to my roof...a drywall hoist. They run about $215 at Harbor Freight. While Iíll admit it is an expensive and large item to store, it makes it easy to get stuff up to my roof when I have no one around to lend me a hand.
