Once you have it off the wall, check the back to see if the wires are installed correctly and none are disconnected. If your voltmeter is showing current coming to the device (fuse is good), then see if it will reset itself. Otherwise, they're about $30 to replace.

There is a blade fuse on the back of that plate for the cigar lighter socket.

I didn't mean to imply there wasn't. I was just quoting from their instruction manual:

"This unit is equipped with a polyswitch,
(current limiting device), which will shut down
+12VDC if there is a direct short between
antenna and power supply. Green indicator light
will not light. Once short is eliminated, device will
reset itself in approximately 2 minutes"

After acquiring an 18yo rig, I finally determined that MINE had a melted fusible LINK between the 12vdc wire on back and POS+ post in socket, but Also apparently overheated, NO connection between two parts of the center post POS in the socket and the washer around it that had the power... Replacing whole assembly ($30?) fixed mine, but I changed mine to have USB ports. (Suspicion) that long run high-amp like maybe air compressor blew it out? Or maybe a larger Inverter? Suspect these PLASTIC receptacles DESIGNED for LOW amps, like phone chargers/ small fans? I bought a dual-power DIGITAL AUTO-SHUTOFF air compressor to run on GEN/ 120vac :-)
