How Do I Remove the Moen Shower Handle?

Trying to do some nook and cranny cleaning and can't figure out how to remove the water on/off handle/knob on my Moen shower. I though there should be a small logo or something mounted on the axis that I could pop off to get to an attaching screw, but can't figure out how that might "pop off". ???

Any ideas?

Thanks in advance....

Rick

I've had one of each type of control in past RV's. Does the handle look like this: Or like this:

If it's the first one, the logo hubcap has a little indentation near the edge where you can pry it/pop it out with a tiny screwdriver to get access to the screw behind it. If it's the second one, the handle is held on with a set screw. Loosen the set screw with an allen wrench to take off the handle to get access to the screw behind it.

If it's like our house Moens, the screw that allows the handle to be removed is actually a Torx screw, not an Allen head.

No wonder my kitchen faucet handle keeps working loose after tightning with an allen wrench....
