How do Lambright and Flexsteel RV Wall Huggers compare

We want to purchase a wall hugger recliner love seat up to 72" to fit our RV slideout. We sat on so many reclines in furniture outlets; ranging from 500.- to 4500.- $. Most were set through to start with; way too soft: You sink in and have a hard time getting out (I weight app. 170ponds) .... Only Flexsteel seemed to give you the support to make it really comfortable. I have to admit, that I am from continental Europe - we are not so much into soft, soft, soft and sink in ...

-->> Now I read about Lambright RV Sofas from Indiana. Are they as solid, long lasting and (my way of feeling) comfortable as the Flexsteels seem to be?

We replaced our factory theater seating with Lambright Luxe Wall Hugger Theater Seat. We chose Ultraleather and wife wanted love seating for when grandkids stayed with us and Lambright was the only one we could find that the center consoles would fold up and become a small couch, all others center consoles are non movable. We installed ourselves no problem, shipping was great ,5 boxes, easily fit through the door. We added wireless phone charger and power reclining with inside controls. The 66 inch model is 68 in wide as shown in the dimensions literature. Extremely happy with our choice.

The Lambright's use genuine La Z Boy mechanisms. You can choose the covering material, and they will send you samples. Had a recliner done too for the computer station and they custom padded it for the DW to fit. UltraLeather comes in many different grades, get samples, pick your colors give time for building and you will be pleased. SUPER SUPER folks!!!

They work from about 4am until noon. We went to the factory, spent the night, they installed early next morning. On the road and over to Rise and Roll early.

Three years and they still look new. Kids had the same experience, 60# boxer and shows no wear either. BUY THE BEST Ultraleather or you will end up with the same problems as RV builders furniture. Research Ultraleather.

I installed Lambright seats last year. They are indeed very firm, especially compared to the Flex steel sofa bed that they replaced. I find them to be very comfortable.

Flexsteel products are no longer made for RV's. They discontinued that business 2 years ago.

Thank you and yes, I heard about it. I was going to put a home model (Catalina) into our RV. Its "only" 72" long and can be taken to, pieces in order to fit through the RV door.
But I would probably prefer a model where the middle console can be pushed up and back and where you can have a nap on.
That's how I came across Lambright, but I did not find any real leather upholstery and I can not reach their website.

Thanks so much for your explanations. Sounds good. But you did choose "Ultraleather"; sounds like FAKE leather ....? Dont they have COW HIDE?
Is the seating more firm or more soft (you sink in...)?

Thank you very much. Our RV is currently in Salt Lake City; and it is unlikely that we can make it ti Indiana - for the couch only (long way and high gas prices). Wouildn't there be and good reliable dealers to help or does one have to drive to the factory to get the best advice, service and product?

Great! So the seating is very firm! Very good.

I think about 2 years ago flexsteel got out of the rv furniture business. They are still in the residental and comerical comerical furniture.

I decided to go to the Amish (lam right)in Indiana and discuss, choose and order with them if we like the outcome.
We wrote theta letter in German and one of the sons called back. Very very friendly and welcoming talk.
We will be in Elkhart at the end of June.

You will be pleased for sure. Forgot they are so very comfortable, that you end up rewinding lots of TV stuff because you fall asleep.
