1992 HR Free Spirit TT (Front Window Shield)

The front of my Free Spirit has a window shield. At the top of that shield there is a piece of rubberized strip that protects the hinges and keeps water front running down on the window. Being 24 years old that strip is brittle and broken in several places. Where can I find a replacement for this piece. It appears to be simply screwed into place. Thanks in advance.

We have an 03 Endeavor,38ft. 3 slides, 500hp Cummins diesel pusher. We are half timers from Graham WA. Love it. We removed the J-couch and sofa bed. Added 2 swivel rocker recliners and a faux fireplace and more storage. Davis Cabinets in Junction city Oregon near Eugene, did the cabinets and fireplace install matching the original counter top Corian.

Congrats on a high quality, well built coach. It will serve you well. We did an interior remodel on an ‘03 coach also & couldn’t be happier.

It certainly doesn’t reflect on your coach or it’s performance but most likely you have a Cummins ISC rated at 330 hp. In ‘03 the Imperial had a 400hp ISL and the Navigator had a 500 hp ISM.

Unlike most posters here who seem to have coaches dating from 2008 and earlier, we just bought a new 2018 HR Navigator XE 36U. Don't know much about the earlier rigs other than what I read here and most seem to like them. We are extremely happy with ours after two shakedown cruises covering approx. 800 miles thus far. A number of small issues most of which I corrected myself but nothing major. We really like ours..........

We bought our first motorhome last spring after doing a lot of research and stumbling onto a 2003 Vacationer 34 SBD that we fell in love with. It was love a first site when we walked into her and saw the beautiful interior.

The tires are four years old and we've had very little go wrong with the coach..... mostly operator error. [emoji6]

We've only used her three times last year but we are planning a lot of weekend trips this summer. I'm going to use her for a turkey hunting trip this May.

My wife may retire this fall and if she does we are heading south in late November for the winter and then head west to Albuquerque for a couple of weeks.

We have made a few changes..... changed the convection microwave, flat screen tv's, added tpms system and purchased some of the necessities for comfortable camp sites.

I'm happy to find this thread...... I love my Holiday Rambler!

Ill ad to this thread
I have a Holiday Rambler Imperial, 370h.p. cummins isl, 38pkd model, sand stone color scheme, p.o. did change the front carpet for real hardwood flooring and seems to have taken real good care of it. Ive been tinkering with some small projects and adjustments but so far it seems to be a well built rig. my next task is to change out all the brass crap on the interior, I never have liked bright brass. otherwise very happy with it.

Recently upgraded to a 08 Navigator after 14 years in a 04 Dynasty. Fortunately other than the multiplex system all the other systems are much the same so the learning curve is not that bad. Replaced 60+ halogens with LED and main TV with a bigger LED TV.

A friend of mine has a 2004 HR Vacationer (50th anniversary addition) that has always been garaged since new. For the last 5 years he meets us at the Dover Nascar race and it’s intersting to see how many people stop to admire it. It’s great to see one that has been kept like it was in the showroom for 14 years.

Unfortunately, his wife doesn’t want to go to the races anymore and wants him to sell it. So he might have to sell his ‘baby’ after the Dover race. If my pole barn was big enough to put his into, I would be selling mine and buying his, as I think that the HRs are one of the best ever built.

Congrats to those of you who have one.
