How to make decals look new again?

Our Class C is in very nice condition except for some of the decals.
They had peeling edges that I have trimmed with a razor.

But, how can I brighten them to look new again?
I have tried Meguires vinyl clean, but that is short lived.

I use Protectant 303 but it will not last either but it does not contain petroleum and will not hurt the graphics.

Replacing them is about the only semi-permanent cure.

I had a 1999 Monaco Diplomat that the stripes had faded some. I used a product called DoubleHorn Rv Exterior Protectant Kit. It is a multi step process but worked very well. It will not fix cracks or patch holes. It took 2 kits to do the 38 foot Monaco.
