How to protect air hose fitting?

Like many of you I have an female Milton air hose coupler on the rear of my coach. I would like to put a capped male fitting in this coupler to keep the bugs from making nests in it. Unfortunately I can only find steel male fitting and I would like brass so it won't rust. Does anyone know where I can find a brass male fitting?

I use a plastic cap to cover the quick-connect fitting. If you use something to plug into the fitting, this means it cannot seal properly.

I se a plastic cap and never had an issue with it. It keeps everything from entering.

I use a rubber boot for stool legs, they come in various sizes. I also put one on the toad connection.

I guess a plastic cap or a crutch tip/chair leg tip is the way to go. I'll see what I have in my goodie box. If I can't find anything I guess I'll have to buy a chair leg or crutch tip. Thanks guys.
