No direct Alpha knowledge here either. If you have general questions post them on the thread and you will get a wealth of answers.

Generally if you have a competent RV mechanic go over the house and a good mechanic go over the power train you should be good.

Main issue for me is does the floor plan fit your wants and needs? No use in getting a really good RV that is not comfortable.

My wife and i looked at a 2007 see ya gold saturday morning...we fell in love..it was model 1008 3 slides with 2 hallways and pull out drawers in basement and can use on both sides .. i to am wondering the quality of unit...it just seemed well kept and very good fit and finish///they had it for 129,000 and clearance at 99,000. we paid 35000 for our '97 london aire.. and first offer of 71,000 difference seemed good.. well seel we still have to tell them we had a slight accident on interstate 35 in Minneapolis . we got 15500 from insurance so we have to tell them of course. can t just sign the papers and then give em coach...and then stick to there price and alls good...ya think?? jeff

Sorry I don't know anything about the Alfa either! Hope you find the perfect rig for your needs!

Good luck, happy trails, and God bless!

Richie,
While I personally don't have any first hand knowledge of Alpha coaches, we've been around Diesels and have done extensive maintenance, repairs, alterations, fabrications and more, for years and years. I'm not an expert, not specifically trained in schools or certified in anything but, seat-of-the-pants stuff stuff and, lots of help from knowledgeable folks on here, have helped tremendously in keeping our coach on the road. If you have questions I can't help with, I'll let you know.

There are many, many DIY types on here that have been ultra helpful for many years. Good luck on your coach purchase.
Scott

Hi Richie here are a couple of pages out of the motor home comparison guide, it will give you a little information on the coach. I have walked them and I liked what I saw, I'm sure that most parts needed would be easy to find! I too appreciate your service and welcome to the forum! Regards
