HWH Travel Mode Question ???
I have the HWH air suspension with auto leveling on my 2001 Monaco. I have never seen the "Travel Mode" light come on. The bus is new to me, since I bought it from the original owner last January. I have used the bus at least a couple dozen times or more and have manually adjusted the ride height to a normal looking height each time. Any suggestions? Thanks in advance.

Go to the HWH website and download the guide for your coach. You probably have the 625 system. Anyway the travel mode light comes on when all the jacks are raised to their full up position. There are micro-switches that detect this at each leg and it is possible that one of these is out of adjustment. This has nothing to do with your leveling system. Are you saying that it won't go into auto-leveling or are you manually leveling for the fun of it? I am assuming you have hydraulic jack leveling and not air air bag leveling.

It is an "ALL" air system. Air leveling, air ride, all automatic.

The automatic air leveling system works as it should when I'm parked and I'm camping. I'm saying that my Travel light does not come on, which would indicate that the coach is at the proper ride height. I've been told that the HWH system would auto adjust while traveling down the road and let you know when the coach is ready for travel by the indicator light on the panel. Just wondering if maybe there is a fuse or an adjustment that can be made by me. Thanks for the input......

First thing to do is determine what the correct ride height should be. This info should be available from Monaco or one of the Monaco support groups. If the height is to low or to high, the only way to adjust it is to make adjustments to the ride height valves.
On my coach the travel light does come on when at proper height. It is a little green light that isn't as bright as the red ones so I have to really look for it.
One thing to try is to turn off the leveling system and start the coach. You should see the coach rise or settle down depending on what needed to be done to level it. When the coach is at height, the light should be on.
If nothing works as you thing it should, then a call to HWH is in order. Nice guys to deal with.

Good advice. HWH is very helpful.
Generally, the Travel Mode light means your air bags are air'ed up and ready to travel. If they aren't fully aired up, you're going to know it pretty quick.
P.S. Don't travel with your air bags deflated. Not good for your suspension and drivetrain.

I had a similar problem, called Monaco and they told me to unscrew the plate and check all of the wires, etc. underneath it. Did so and had no more problems. evidently the wiring can work loose while traveling.

Had a simular problem om my 2001 Monaco. Jacks wouldn't work but the panel lit up. Called HWH, real nice place BTW, they stated Monaco put the plate flat, and the weight of the plugs works the plugs loose. Wiggled the wires, glue them to the plate and no more problems.
