Hydraulic engine fan

M11 400 hp cummins has hydraulic fan does not shut down when cold. Not familiar with this type more used to truck cooling fans. any comment? Jack

1998 Gulfstream Tourmaster -MPV-8403 TM Spartan Chassis built 3/97 35000# thats it for information on the Spartan chassis. Thanks Jack

Not sure this answers your question, we have a similar set up on a 1993 Gulfstream that has the 250hp Cumm. with the Spartan chassis and side mounted rad.
The FAN runs all the time, cold or hot. Not sure if the fan speed will change due to engine temp.

That maybe the same with ours. I will call Spartan and ask if they are thermostat controlled or not. Will come on line when I here back.Thanks kstrails---Jack
