My hydraulic system has stopped working on my recently purchased 2000 Rexall aerbus. New to RV life, and am want to learn to fix/self repairs. Can anyone help?

People are going to tell you to be more specific about the system you have and more details about your coach. If the entire system just stopped working it may be a simple fix like a fuse but again what exactly has happened and what are the symptoms?

Hydraulic system

You have not indicated what is wrong with your system. Hard to know how to advise you, but this might help. I have a 2001 Rexhall Aerbus 37' V-10 F53 Ford chassis with 2 slides. Shortly after I bought it the hydraulic system stopped working. The jacks wouldn't go up and down and the slides wouldn't slide. The local RV repair facility told me the hydraulic pump was shot. Cost to repair was about $800. I crawled under the front and found the pump near the radiator. Removed it. Took it to an automobile electric alternator and generator repair shop. They rebuilt the pump for $125. I put it back in and the system works perfectly. Total cost was $125 plus an hour of my own labor.

okkkkk,
That's a start on needed info. But, we need to know who makes or made, your particular jack system, HWH, Lippert, Kwikee, who? Also, any model numbers would be helpful too.
