Inverter seems to operate normally but, is beeping like in error mode. The light is blinking 4 times per second which indicates float charging.

Any ideas why the beeping. It has done this before I essentially disconnect the batteries and reconnect and it goes away. Would like to get to the root of the problem.

Beep is an error of some sort. My Xantrex beeps on overload, high temp, low battery and a few other things I don't remember right now.

Scott, start with cood connections and thoroughly check each battery in the bank. If all are good then find out what the inverter is finding at fault. You may find a bad battery but not necessarily. Let us know what you find.

The Prosine on my 2003 Suncruiser wasn't in a heated compartment. It would beep whenever it got really cold out.

Prosine Inverters beep for just about anything. I haven't found cold to be one of them but, as usual YMMV. Make sure batteries are clean and connection are tight. Also make sure that the batteries aren't frozen or water level is too low. Batteries are not real fond of the cold.
