Is there a reset button for the inverter panel, I just finished charging my battery then I press the button to turn on the inverter but it did not come on.

I ask that because there may be others with the EXACT SAME COACH and or the EXACT SAME INVERTER that most likely can answer the OPs questions since there are variables in coaches and equipment. So many just give blanket answers that in many cases have absolutely NOTHING to do with an OPs original question. If stats are given in an OPs original question, then an equal coach/inverter owner may have insight that to THAT SAME COACH or, SAME inverter.

When my panel has erratic display I can reset the board by unplugging the network type cable (large telephone type plug) either from the board or the inverter, leave it 30 seconds or more, then re-connect. In your case I suggest you triple check the battery connections as something may not have been re-connected proudly when the battery(ies) was replaced. That is the most common problem in the scenario you describe. (I am assuming when you say you replaced your "battery" that you mean the house battery(ies).)

According to Magnum, there is no reason for it to be on unless it will be used. When on, even in the 'standby' mode, it is using power.

Exactly right. Mine is on only when I need to use it, ESPECIALLY when camping w/o shore power.

but that's exactly WHAT the inverter is for - when you are NOT on shore power!
we have full timed for over3 years and the inverter has NEVER been off - even the 'little' bit of power it requires is of little concern - but, if you'd rather, it also has a 'search watts' feature where it only comes on when something requires it, automatically.
if you are referring to it not being needed when you are in storage, then, yes, it should be off - but having it ON, even when you are on Shore Power, is your 'backup' power should shore power be lost. It's great!

The inverter is for providing 120v power when you are not on shore power or generator, which isn't often unless you have a residential refrigerator. Even the little bit of power is burns in standby mode is a waste if you don't need 120v power. We fulltimed for 7 years, and are now on the road about half the time. Yes, it would keep 120v stuff running if shore power was lost ...but all I can imagine needing in that situation is power for the refrigerator, and maybe TV if we were there. Without power the refer will stay cold for 8 hours or so. All things considered, our inverter is rarely on and that causes us no hardship at all. If is always there if/when we need it, and the batteries last longer.

If the LED panel and status light do not come ON when you it the ON/OFF switch then you do not have power to the unit.
Do you have Manual Power Isolation switch in the battery compartment or a battery disconnect switch?
A Xantrex Pro 1000 should have a 150 amp fuse on the B+ battery lead.
