We have a 2000 Sea View, 34' MH. The Power Gear jacks have been known to retrack while in use. Once time we found the right rear up a couple inches, another time the left rear jack up a couple inches, and another time the front jacks had come up about an inch. We have also noticed they have lowered an inch or so while driving.

Our thought is low hydraulic fluid but we can't find any information on it in our manual. We also can't find anyone to check on them (Portland, OR area).

Anyone have any ideas?

Also, our bedroom slide is not going out evenly (it use to) so the back side is not sealing good. Can they be connected?

You can contact Power Gear at www.Powergearus.com on the net. Their phone no. is 574-254-5265.

They should be able to help you and furnish a manual for your levelers.

Good Luck!

Your slide out mechanism may also be from Powergear, but they are not related. Chances are your slide has become misaligned and is binding slightly. Look for rugs or other things getting in the way.

However, sometimes just the slide seals need lubricating. If they get real dry, the rubber may bind enough that it will not quite close.
