Anyone use Purogene for extended storage of water in fresh water tank or other uses?

I have used it, and still do once in awhile. But my supply is running low. I had a gallon that I purchased awhile back.

Lately though I don't keep water in the tank long enough to worry about it. I clean the tank the normal way two or three times each year.

From what I read in the FDA approvals, the active ingredient in Purogene is chlorine. If so, you could get the same results with bleach.

The active ingredient should be listed on the bottle, if somebody has one.
