Keyless Entry question

Hi

My husband and I bought a 1998 Fleetwood Bounder, and we are interested in possibly replacing the door handle/lock with a keyless entry. Can anyone tell me if this is possible, and if so, what model/brand would work?

Probably not. You can check out the many places that sell them on the internet, but mostly they do not work for Class A motorhomes (wrong size, fit, etc.). I think that's slowly changing, but there's not a lot of options out there right now. You can always just leave it unlocked and when you get close to the door say "beep" and pretend it was keyless.

Are you looking for a keyless touch pad, or a remote keyless FOB type locking system.

Tri-Mark makes both. It is likely the original lock/handle is a Tri-Mark. But without taking it out and looking at it impossible to tell.

The FOB type is a little more universal, IF you can find someone to install it. The Tri-Mark keyless pads have to fit and work like the original latch.
