Don't get upset, utube exists to make money. Utube video makers are there to make money. Dramatizing the subject increases revenue.
I seriously doubt any financing entity will invest in trackers and kill switches then let their investment go with the vehicle after it's paid for, and they no longer have any interest in the vehicle.

Trackers and remote kill switches are typically found in used vehicles sold by "we finance anyone" or "buy here pay here" dealers.

You might try a google search, Jack, with that context and see how dealers use these devices to their business advantage.

They're not exactly expensive technology but installing them can be a real hack job that can cause vehicle problems even when the devices are not in use. There have been a couple of lawsuits by buyers who had problems with car wiring following removal of the devices, too.

If you're buying a new vehicle from an authorized brand dealer there's almost zero chance one of these will be in your car, SUV, or pickup truck.
