Leak in window

Hi,

Today I was getting my coach washed at a truck wash.
I checked each window to make sure water did not get in. All but one were fine.

Besides cleaning the weep holes is there anything else to check? Also what should I use to clean the weep holes?

Thanks,

Had a slight leak at the window that I thought was the weep holes. Used compressed air to blow through them (also could use a straw to blow into them). Still had leak.

Took a hose and ran water just over the top of the window. Found that I had a small leak somewhere in the seal. Used silicone (lots say not to use silicone but two dealers approved). Easy to use and to clean up. Clean up big issue compared to some other suggestions for sealant. Just ran a small bead across the top and down the sides (no need to do the bottom). VIOLA, leak no more.

Dealers are terrible at maintenance suggestions. There are proper clear caulks you should use but never silicone. Silicone must be removed completely and the surface it was on cleaned thoroughly with alcohol or nothing will stick there ever again, including more silicone. The dealers own parts department sells various types of sealants that can be re-applied with just a simple cleaning making touch-ups and emergency repairs far simpler.

With just one window done yours will not be too bad to re-seal when the time comes but will still take hours rather than minutes.

Thanks Key Master,

This is the first time we have had a leak in this window.
I am still not sure if its the seal or weep holes.
