Lippert slide out

Hi, I’m having an issue with ny lippert slide out, i try to open it and only one side (right) open about 5 inches so i try to close it and the other side (left) goes out while the right side goes in. Anybody as a thought what’s happening ? I know it is désynchronised but how to synchronize it ? I look at a lot of you tube resolutions but can find one that got my problem. Thank you all

Do a google search, this type of slide is known to have problems you should be able to find info on how to fix your problem.

My wife's friend had a coach with this type of slide and I got involved and ultimately found a video of how to fix.

I have seem a lot of trouble shooting on you tube and more, most of the cases they talk about is went the slide won’t come in, i didn’t see any issue talking about a slide who would not open.

There are individual motors for each track mounted in the side/opening where they mate to the tracks. These motors are known to fail, if one is bad the others may not be strong enough to move the slide.

Hello, sorry for your issues. Instead of offering all kinds of advise I would call Lippert cutomer support and explain your issue to their customer service rep and they can offer you support over the phone. It sounds to me though that either the controller is bad or one of the motors wiring is shorting out. There are ways to bypass your controller but I bet if you were to look at your controller it is flashing a trouble code and will point you in the direction of the problem. Now your next question is where is the controller located? Right, mine is located in the storage compart directly underneath each slide. I don't know if yours are there but it's a good place to start. When you call the rep at Lippert they are probably going to ask you about the controller so if you can't find it I'm sure they will tell you where to look and how to read the flashing codes if you have any. Good luck and let us know what the final outcome is.
