After pumping is completed flush pump/discharge hose with water thru the other hose connection
It is worth it....easy, simple, gets the job done and requires NO digging, trenching just a garden hose and 12VDC
I use one of the thread sewer hose connectors and a end cap with hose connection on the cleanout

Thanks Old Biscuit! This is exactly what I'm going to try.

Ran into a bit of a snag. My sewer cleanouts are 2.5". No way the adapter is going to fit. It looks like I will just have to remove the cap and shove the hose into the cleanout and hope for the best.

"adapt" to the situation my friend.
As an example to make a solid connection in any normal cleanout sized opening I used some 1" pvc and glued it into the middle of the cap. The part with the square part you use to turn it with.
Then an elbow a few inches high. Then a hose to 3/4" pipe adaptor.
The same thing could be done for your cap. I'm a bit under the weather today but will try to get a picture of it.
You have to dig around the various pvc and irrigation parts sections.

Why make it complicated....
Just shove end of hose down into cleanout and place a sandbag, flat stone, paver, big rock on top to hold hose in place
Done it MANY times when necessary cause sewer pipe was non-threaded

I do this at home with my RV septic tank. It doesn't thread properly so just put a jack stand over it 😂

I prefer to not have a section of nasty hose to pull out. Making an adaptor is cheap and simple and no chance of the hose coming out accidentally. No exposure to critters getting in the pipes either. Less than $20 to make and solid connection when done.

The pop rivet probably is not necessary but those things can get a bit tight sometimes and I was concerned the twisting might break the glue loose.
No reason you couldn't build one on a smaller diameter plug.

Dump Station
If you have an ELKS lodge near you, they usually have a dump station. Mine charges members $3 and non members $5.

I purchased four 25" lengths of the standard RV sewer hose with couplers and store it in a garbage can when not in use.

My sewer access is also on the opposite side of the house, but I had bathrooms on the side where my RV is parked. Depending on type of foundation raised or concrete slab, you should be able to tap into your existing sewer line. My house is on a concrete slap, and the toilet was against an outside wall, I had to dig down about 18” to 24” and found my 4” ABS sewer pipe, cut the pipe and installed a Sanitary Tee and ran about 6’ of 4” ABS pipe and install a 90 elbow and a threaded cap. Took all day, but is worth it.
