Long Term Storage Questions

I store my 2017 Coachmen Concord in a heated building and leave electric plugged in full time as this is my boy-toy office. I run engine & generator a few minutes each month. Am I causing damage to batteries or anything else with this practice? Thanks

Your not hurting anything.

The generator needs to be run every month or drained of gas. Gad can foul the carburator.

The main engine doesn't need to run but it won't hurt it, at least not measurably. Fuel injection doesn't foul.

Your charging system is designed to safely float charge your batteries, you just need to keep an eye on the water levels, if they have caps to check them.

depends on your battery charger. if it has float or maintenance mode you’ll be fine. if not your lead acid batteries, may boil. regardless check your battery water levels at least once a month.

Your generator should be run for 30 minutes under "load" once a month.

If you check your manual it will tell you to start your generator and run it at half load for 2 hrs each month, as far as you engine, I would also start that monthly and run it until you bring it up to temp. Which would be 220 degrees on your Concord. That is with a 6.0 Chevy, if yours is a V10 ford check your manual.

Do you add fuel stabilizer? If not I'd suggest that before storing. Just be sure to run eng so it is treated in eng vs just the tank.

You need a smart charger, and, if lead/acid batteries....check them.

Yes you are causing damage to both. If you are going to run the engine then you need to take it out and put it on the road to really get the engine hot. You need to burn off all of the moisture in the exhaust of the engine or it will stay in the exhaust and cause it to rust out.
As far as the generator you need to put it under a heavy load to help it ensure that you burn off the crude that gets on the generator windings due to lack of use. What crude does is causes it to have diminished output. Also Onan recommends about 30 minutes under load per month. As far as your batteries, just make sure the water level is good if they are not maintenance free, especially because if you keep it plugged in.
