Glad to have you here in the forum with us. You're gonna like it here.
PPL does a big business in consignment sales of MHs. I've always seen good reports about them. The parts store is excellent.
Happy Trails!!!

I have several friends who both bought and sold through PPL. They move a LOT of used RV’s and most are on consignment. Sometimes a bank repo.
The have a good reputation for honesty and fair dealing. However, sometimes the selection may not be to your liking.
One thing I do like about PPL is that for someone who is clueless about what kind of RV they may want, they provide a one stop shop to see a little bit of everything (HOUSTON Store).
All the RV’s are open and ready for inspection. It can get hot, they don’t run the Gennys or plug them in. No sales person will hassle you.

No experience with PPL. But would highly recommend Motorhomes of Texas.

I looked at a couple of their MHs via the internet.. (Im in Ohio) .. They seem to have the process down and are in the business of selling.. I ran into a little of a roadblock when I asked about pre-purchase inspections.. They said they don't do them and couldn't provide me the names of anyone that could.. I can see why they don't inspect, but thought it unusual they didn't maintain a list of inspectors.. (I can see how this could present problems for them, but this seems like it would be a very high priority for any potential out of town buyer...
ANYWAY - That was the only concern I had... I did not buy from them, but would certainly put them high on my list next time I'm shopping...

I have made one purchase and one sale with both being a satisfactory experience. My only caution when shopping from a distance online is pictures do not usually make evident true wear and tear of RV. Not PPL fault that is just nature of pictures unless taken very up close.

Is it standard practice for a seller to provide a list of inspectors? I'm not so sure (as a buyer) I'd fully trust an inspector recommended by the seller. Also, there may be some kind of responsibility if something is missed in the inspection...??
