I'm assuming you are referring to the remote? First thing to try is to disconnect the cable remote the remote and let it sit for few minutes and then reconnect. You can unplug it at the inverter end.

I seem to remember there is a proper sequence for connecting the remote, which end to connect 1st. I know I did it the wrong way and had to call Magnum to get the correct sequence. It may make a difference in which end has to be disconnected in order to reset it. Just something from my failing memory.

I believe you can reset it on the remote screen. Instructions tell how to do this. I had to reset mine awhile back. Worked great after that.

Not sure which model of Magnum you have. If you have an MS series, you can try to press the reset button on the back for 15+ seconds. If this doesn't work, try to unplug the data cable on the back and plug in after 15+ seconds. As the last resort, call Magnum tech support, they are very helpful.

That is part of my problem, the remote screen shows nothing, afraid to touch any dials(buttons) at the bottom of the remote, I know I had it set for 50 amp. I will try and unscrew the remote from it's location and unplug it from the back of the remote and wait for the alotted time and replug it back in and see if that works. Thank you for your help.

We have a Magnum energy ME-RC Remote Control. I did call magnum and said to unplug it and wait a certain amount of time and plug back in. I looked in the basement of our motorhome at the inverter, have to stand on my head to do that, will try to unscrew the remote in the coach and try that way. Thank you all for the help.
