Make it look like new

My class c is a 1991 fourwind that runs perfect, has been completely redone inside. What can i do to the outside to make it sparkle short of painting it? Wax, cleaner, etc. Suggestions?

If you have oxidize gel coat-rubbing compound and elbow grease followed by wax.

I have had good luck using barkeepers friend for cleaning and zep high traffic wax. Works wonders on nasty fiberglass exteriors.

Use a cleaner for fiberglass before you wax. You will be surprised by how good it can come back with some elbow grease.

I had a 96 class c with the white siding and decals, spent a lot of time making it look nice. I used rubbing compound and then was. My biggest problem was making it look the same. Learned that I would do a 2 ft area and then wipe it off and move on. Not wax a few areas and then wipe them all off. Of coarse merges memoires meguires is all I used. Good luck

I have used a kitchen cleaning pad and Soft Scrub. I think the pad is Scotch Scrub, a yellow sponge with a green pad. Then Nu-Finish. I have used the pad for removing bugs on the front of all my vehicles. Just using windshield wiper solvent.

Try a product called Gel Gloss. It is both a cleaner and a wax. Use terry-cloth shop towels with about a 1-2" dollop, rub in and let dry to a haze in about 10-20 minutes and wipe off to a nice shine. Does wonders on oxidized fiberglass. Product found at RV dealers, Amazon, some Home Depot, some Walmarts....

I'v had good luck with ShineOn, they sell a kit for $12 to tryout on a section of your RV. Otherwise a kit for a 30' RV cost about $100. The key is to clean to RV really well, then you just wipe this clear coat on with 3-5 coats. I also use the Scotch Scrub for cleaning the front cap of bugs.
