Although the temperatures have been rather cool this late Spring, past week ; we know the higher temps and humidity will be here very soon on the East Coast.

Just completed install of a new MaxxAir 4300K Fan in the front ceiling vent.
I'll be trying to fabricate a way to save the original MAxxAir Shield and have it fit onto the new fan's housing and base. Seeing, that it is still structure sound - needing much soap and suds, though ! Second, I may have to purchase the newer version of the MAxxAir Vent Shield.

So far, I am very pleased with the operation and features of the 4300K.

Campworld deliveries have been running 1-2 days earlier than their estimated delivery times, which makes things that much better.

Well, it may be a little early to say, but the temps seem to be a little lower inside with the vent open.

The day I went over there to open the vent was 6/7, and it was sunny, with a temp of 107 outside and 121 inside. Today, 6/13, 6 days later, it was overcast, with a temp of 107 outside and 110 inside. I'll check back after a week when the sun is out and see what the difference is.

I stopped worrying about it years ago, and have yet to see any damage inside our past and current RVs from the area's summer temperatures.
We should be considering what the dealerships do with their inventory of 100's of motorhomes on their dealership lots. Empty New Motorhomes With No Personal Valuables Or Food Stored Within. Do the dealerships have the manpower or time to open air vents on all of their inventory ?

So many variables , configurations, ambient temp conditions and different motorhome manufacturers.
Only one vent open or one vent and a side window or another source of fresh air open ?

Storage/ unoccupied for the day while out, should always be closed, as should awnings/ slides, is MY personal BEST CHOICE/ safest, and hose bibs/ water pumps OFF. Returning to disasters is NEVER fun, from what I read... = RISK MANAGEMENT... I can/ others can ADD much to this list, from what I read...

Bullhead city

I live in bullhead city where we often have been seeing 120+ temps. Been storing outside for a couple of year. All vents closed. This has not affected the inside at all, when I have checked it can see 130+ inside. I concern myself with being sure I have good UV blockage on all the windows. It is the sun not the heat that does damage such as destroying upholstery. Also be sure you have tire covers all around preferably white.

Temp outside 91 deg. F.
One rear ceiling vent ( standard 14 inch square) open / no fan.
One small side window open/ no fan.
The internal temp was 100.4 deg F or 37.8 deg C
measured with two different thermometers.
Their was no air circulation device whatsoever
that was On
