Maxxair Fan 4 speed swap for Maxxair Deluxe 10 speed?

I would like to swap out our Maxxair 4 speed exhaust fan for a Maxxair Deluxe 10 speed w/remote. Does the Deluxe model have the same amperage draw? Will the wire(s) to the basic model be OK for hooking up the new 10 speed?

Also, if I do swap out the basic model for the deluxe model, I would like to move the basic model to the bathroom. Same question here, does the basic bathroom exhaust fan have the wiring and amperage capability to handle the 4 speed unit?

Thanks

Patrick

Shouldn't be a problem. They're all pretty low current draw.

Thanks for your quick reply, that’s what I was thinking and hoping. My theory is that your using only one speed at a time so the amp draw would be the same. I just don’t want any surprises when I pull the old unit out.
