MI State/National Forest Campgrounds dirt roads

Hi,

The dozen Michigan State/National Forsest Campground l have visited have dirt access roads.

Is there any with tarmac roads or is it all dirt? I ask as last trip put had to drive 5 miles on first roads in the rain and coach was filthy after. I really liked the State Forest parks but not sure it was worth having to wash the coach after.

Thanks,

Most of the FS roads we hang out at are also dirt. However, Nordhouse Dunes in the Lake Michigan Recreation Area has some paved roads into their campsites.

We did drive through the Lake Michigan Rec area this year, I could not recall how the roads were, but that's good to know
