I enjoy seeing these comments. As a wildlife rehabber, I have been on calls picking up owls and hawks that were suspected of being poisoned. It is awful to see one of these beautiful birds after they have eaten a mouse that is full of poison. If we as a people kill off the mouse predators with rat poison it allows for mice increase in numbers.

Mouse traps work great. I set 4 traps in my battery compartment a couple of years ago, and the next morning all 4 had mice.
Those little guys can get through a dime size hole, at least. I sealed up EVERYTHING, sprinkled scouring powder all around the coach and trapped the ones inside. Problem solved.

I use a standard trap and always get my mouse.

I DON'T put the bait (peanut butter) on the top of the trigger.....put it on the bottom so they have to really work it to get their reward...

I didn't think hawks and owls ate carrion. Some raptors do.
