Missing Shower

the 88 winnebago superchief we recently purchased didnt have a shower as the previous owner had been in the middle of a remodel of the interior. I thought it would be easy to find a new unit, but it has been quite frustrating finding something that will fit, and Winnebago wont even talk about it as they dont have inventory nor have they kept parts numbers for this old girl.
does anyone have any suggestions?

From what I can tell, the shower is a simple rectangle with a straight door. I would measure the space and hunt up pre-fab shower enclosures that might fit within the dimensions. At minimum, you may find a moulded pan that will fit and you make your own walls from fiberglass panels.

Look up prefab shower enclosures or shower stall kits. Home Depot has some, for example.

One oddity of an RV shower is that it is usually elevated so that they can install the Pee Traps.

No reason why you couldn't make a platform out of pressure treated lumber.

Most big box stores like Lowes or Home Depot sell the shower pans, sides, and doors to fit various dimensions.
Take measurements of the space you have and find a shower pan that will work and then the surround. Installation isn't that hard and cost would be reasonable compared to probably buying from an RV supplier.

I agree with the above statement. I know Lowe’s carries a good selection of small shower enclosures. Easy to find a 24 x24 base and that is small

Mobile home parts suppliers carry the abs tubs shower pans and surrounds used in those years. Try googleing them.
