We also have our motor home insured through Progressive with full replacement cost (covers the full amount of what we paid for the vehicle). We also have contents coverage since we are full timers.

thank you for that heads up information

sadly certain things to do not come to mind and also not easy to spot in some contracts....I will look at companies that are RV insurance companies primarily or only. Hopefully that will help some...

This year I got another quote from R/V America which came in around $225 lower than my original renewal. Here's the catch if I took the lower rate that now changes the policy. This is their loop hole they don't tell you unless you ask. The policy now would change from replacement cost to actual value replacement cost. I would have to get the M/H appraised at todays market value, which would be considerably lower than what I payed in '05. Next year probably another increase, and I have no claims with them. Buyer be ware!

State Farm...Good Sam

State Farm pays what the motorhome is worth when totaled. I have all my insurance with State Farm. The premium for the MH is $800 per year.

Maybe ten years ago I had Good Sam Insurance and they offered full replacement (not cash) if totaled or stolen for the original owner only. There was a lesser amount if you are not the original owner. I think that they still offer something like this. You would have to check on their site. Joe
