I am shopping for my first motorhome. I plan to pay about $100,000 and am currently looking at Southwinds and Dolphins. Do you have any pros or cons about either one? Also, I plan to buy one about 34' to 37 '. Are there any campgrounds restrictions on MH's this size?

Welcome to irv2.
You will find good people and good info here.

I dont think you will have problems with the length of motorhome you are looking at. Sometimes you run into problems when you exceed the length you are buying.

I cant speak as to the two brands you are looking at, except to say that the Dolphins have had good reviews as far as I am aware.
Not quite so sure about the Southwinds.

If you buy a new 37' gas motorhome I suggest buying one that is built on the Workhorse W24 gas chassis. If the W24 is an option get it.

I'll second on the recommendation of the W24 Workhorse Chassis if you are going new and gas. We have several members how have both brands and I am sure you will get some good feed back. Welcome to the website and forum. Good luck and enjoy the hunt!
