Contact Freightliner and see if they'll send you a wiring schematic linked to your chassis serial number .

I'll see if I can track down a thread here in the forums on the " Cats Eye " being displayed on your shift pad .
Have you checked all the wires attached to the chassis battery positive cable , just in case one has been corroded and come loose from the terminal ?

I have wiring info for 1999,2001, and 2003 but not your 2005 chassis .

Freightliner free help line .
1-800-385-4357
Have your serial number handy when you call , it's the first thing they ask for.

Long story short. I found the problem, just over the transmission to diff yoke there is a group of wire looks that cross from the drivers side to the passenger side. Well the zip ties holding half of them had broken letting some of the loom hit the yoke and rub through the 2 most important wires. I cut them back, spliced in new wire to start the coach and get it in the backyard. It starts and moves. I will do the final repair this weekend and a way better job tiring it all up then the 20 year old zip ties they started with. Thank you to the guys that reached out with ideas for me to look at and try. This sir does have good people willing to help still and was helpful for sure. I hope everyone has a great day and a great weekend.

Congrats ...gathering the most information and looking closely goes a long way. Glad you didn't have to go into repairing pins in a connector. I remember reading ,mobile tech tracing and repairing in a few hours something like this in the connector . Also remember thinking 'respect" and how much owner probably saved over so many shops discussed.
I would put my trust in soldering and quality glue/sealer heat shrink tubes. I've also used heat shrink butt connectors. The quality wider crimp tool is less likely to pierce the tubing than usual multi pliers.
