My roof repair
Hi Guys,
Just thought that I would post some pictures of my ongoing roof repair for comments, etc.
This is on a 94 Gulfstream Conquest. I am eventually gonna coat the roof with Liquid Rubber but I have to repair some spot that were leaking and caused damage first. This is the first of those repairs.

Gonna use Eternabond Web Seal down both edges before coating. I have one more spot to cut out and repair around the skylight before I can coat it. It will be about a 2'x3' section.

I am impressed with your neat job! Eternabond is my goto for this sort of thing. Can't wait to see the finished roof pictures.

I'd do this for a side job if I had a shed to work under. I love this kind of stuff.

Nice work. How is it coming. Any updates to post? Any closeups of the framing work, or is it all sound?

Sorry it took me so long to reply. No new updates yet. The framing is good. It is aluminum. I will post more soon.

Still have done any more to my roof yet except to reinstall my ladder. I have to buy tires for the old girl first. Yay! Just replaced the shocks and some water hoses and belts. Trying to get ready to go camping. I plan on working on the roof more soon also.

Sorry I haven't updated in a while. Had to do some mechanical work so had to divert funds to that. Have replaced shocks, hoses, belts. Also just replaced tires today. Ours where 10 years old and starting to crack. Going camping next weekend and didn't want blow out. More roof work coming soon.

OK finally got back to work on my roof. This time it is the sky light over the shower. Upon tearing it off I found that the frame work was not as wide as the skylight and the screws never went into the frame, only the luan. This allowed the screws to loosen up and leaks to start. someone made an attempt to patch it over the years with limited results. I ripped it all out and added framework around the opening and replaced the plywood. EPDM and eternabond going on tomorrow. After this gonna get ready to apply the liquid roof.
